Asalamu Alaykum and Greetings!
We are very pleased to present the second book in our series of seven Islamic phonics readers: Yak in the Back. As with the all of our phonics based books, this volume is filled with fun and colorful pages designed to teach children reading proficiency.
Our first reader, “Adam to Zamzam“, teaches children the English alphabet. “Yak in the Back” moves them further along on their journey to reading like a pro. In this reader we introduce the short vowel sounds “a, e, i, o and u”. Children will also learn how to sound out and blend (combine) sounds to form words. Filled with beautifully illustrated, diverse characters and stories that teach ethics, this book is a must have for teaching kids how to read. Check out our book trailer below to learn a bit more about this awesome phonics reader!
We had a blast making the voice over for this trailer! It took many, many takes, as you can imagine, but it was well worth the end results! We hope you enjoyed watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.
